چکیده

As technology grows, higher frequency signals are required to be processed in various applications. In order to digitize such signals, conventional analog to digital convertors are facing implementation challenges due to the higher sampling rates. Hence, lower sampling rates (i.e., subNyquist) are considered to be cost efficient. A well-known approach is to consider sparse signals that have fewer nonzero frequency components compared to the highest frequency component. For the prior knowledge of the sparse positions, well-established methods already exist. However, there are applications where such information is not available. For such cases, a number of approaches have recently been proposed. In this paper, we propose several random sampling recovery algorithms which do not require any anti-aliasing filter. Moreover, we offer certain conditions under which these recovery techniques converge to the signal. Finally, we also confirm the performance of the above methods through extensive simulations.

Low-complexity sparse reconstruction for high-resolution multi-static passive SAR imaging

Bistatic passive synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems using ground broadcast and wireless network signals suffer from low spatial resolution due to the narrow bandwidths and low carrier frequencies. By exploiting multiple distributed illuminators, multi-static passive radar has the possibility of producing high-resolution SAR images. In this paper, a two-stage image formation approach, which ...

Optimal sub-Nyquist nonuniform sampling and reconstruction for multiband signals

We study the problem of optimal sub-Nyquist sampling for perfect reconstruction of multiband signals. The signals are assumed to have a known spectral support that does not tile under translation. Such signals admit perfect reconstruction from periodic nonuniform sampling at rates approaching Landau’s lower bound equal to the measure of . For signals with sparse , this rate can be much smaller ...

Compressive Sensing for Cluster Structured Sparse Signals: Variational Bayes Approach

Compressive Sensing (CS) provides a new paradigm of sub-Nyquist sampling which can be considered as an alternative to Nyquist sampling theorem. In particular, providing that signals are with sparse representations in some known space (or domain), information can be perfectly preserved even with small amount of measurements captured by random projections. Besides sparsity prior of signals, the i...

Further Results on Spectrum Blind Sampling of 2D Signals

We address the problem of sampling of 2D signals with sparse multi-band spectral structure. We show that the signal can be sampled at a fraction of the its Nyquist density determined by the occupancy of the signal in its frequency domain, but without explicit knowledge of its spectral structure. We nd that such a signal can almost surely be reconstructed from its multi-coset samples provided th...

Model-Based Calibration of Filter Imperfections in the Random Demodulator for Compressive Sensing

The random demodulator is a recent compressive sensing architecture providing efficient sub-Nyquist sampling of sparse band-limited signals. The compressive sensing paradigm requires an accurate model of the analog front-end to enable correct signal reconstruction in the digital domain. In practice, hardware devices such as filters deviate from their desired design behavior due to component var...
